Poughkeepsie was an adventure. Allie and I made it to the venue by 8:30am to find that the venue was pretty much in the ghetto. It was hard to tell what shops were even open for business and what was rundown, the cops at one point had even said not to wander around, comforting. We were pretty much alone for a while. The guys in The Maine walked by the line a couple times. Jared, Kenny, and John all stopped to say hi to me without me even having to call attention to them, they just walked up to me, it was actually pretty fucking gnarly. Kenny actually even hung to talk for a little while. I loved actually having a few moments to talk to them without hoards of people around. It was also awesome having the chance to show John my tattoo without having to fight for his attention. I love how much these guys appreciate things like that. But John liked the tattoo and he said that it came out great! Kenny liked it too and even asked me after the show how it was doing after going through the pit for them and TBS.

Their set was amazing as usual! I just fall more in love with them each time I see them live. After the show I stopped to talk to them again. Showed Pat, Garrett and Jared my tattoo since I didn’t before hand. Kenny, John and Pat all remembered my name! It’s kind of an awesome feeling to know that they remember! So much love for them!
